I did a fair amount of research on Amazon before deciding to purchase this product. Important factors were size/dimensions, number of drawers, ability to lock all drawers, the option of adding wheels and, last but not least, that the cabinet was attractive. The product fulfilled all my requirements.The shipping carton was so carefully packed that there was no damage in shipping. I have, in the past, ordered many furniture items that needed assembly and I think this is the first time I received a shipment without any damage or missing parts.I have had much experience in putting together cabinets and I would like to say that the instructions provided were not difficult to follow. It took me, working alone, under two hours in total to assemble.Like having the two smaller drawers to store paper and other desk accessories. Lock works for all three drawers.The assembled cabinet fits well in the space I had designated for it. The file cabinet is just what I needed at present and I am very happy with the purchase.The wood is MUCH DARKER than pictured on the website. Not at all what I was looking for. Would have returned it, but it’s heavy and I needed a locking filing cabinet, sooner rather than later.Assembly instructions recommended 2-3 people. I did it alone. Also, don’t panic after you’re done assembling it (assuming you want a dark colored file), they give you one extra of each screw and connector, so you’ll have parts left over. They holes for the “part c” screws (used for attaching the rollers and drawer handles) were off, so you had to force them into the wood. Also, all of the rollers are labeled the same, but two of them have locking levers, so pay attention to where you place them.I was looking for complimentary piece of furniture for my black desk and I found this. It looks modern, pretty affordable and happy with the look it provides. Working from home made it a requirement to have physical files and this completed that need for me. I get to keep my professional items separate from personal and that's all I need. Glad that it came with a lock, cause it means small kids can't get into it easily. Finally, that wheel on the bottom cabinet: It makes so much sense, cause now I don't have to worry about the weight of stuff I put in there. With that support, I can easily repurpose this into other uses once I'm back at the office.Perfect for my office files and misc. stuff .... Love the extra wheel in front to keep it from tipping when bottom drawer is open.Product arrived well packed, complete and with good instructions. Assembly simple although draw catches fiddly. So far so good. The problem is with the suspension file draw. The runners are positioned at the wrong width to fit suspension files from Amazon, W H Smith and Rymans and the draw is too shallow to allow identity tabs (as supplied with all suspension folders) to be fitted as these then prevent draw closure.I have been able to modify the width but the depth can not be changed sufficiently to allow files with ID tabs to be used.Proper positioning of the holes for the hanging rails (circa 20mm wider) and an increased depth of 15mm required as a minimum to make the bottom drawer usable. Simple design planning that a kid doing CDT at school would have thought through better. Definitely NOT worth the moneyThe one star for 'easy to lock' is because if you can't close the drawer you can't lock the cabinet.Nice sturdy piece of furnitureWould not purchase this again. The drawer are too small to fit letter size documents and the dividers that you suggested I purchase at the same time do not fit. All in all unusable.Obviously resold damaged.Will not accept A4 folders
