I love the ending result however it was hard getting there. There are no instructions included so I had to find them online and print. There was a major needed missing piece for one of the drawers but we made our own to replace it. It definitely takes at least 2 people to out together. The wood is great quality but the plastic parts were a bit disappointing. For heavy wood you would think the attachments would be metal. Luckily its just me using it so I am gentle on my stuff. Overall I really enjoy the sleek look and its purpose. I use the top 2 drawers for shoes and the bottom for my wallets, crossbodys and clutches. So there are lots of reviews touting how poorly made this is and I want to give some insides as to how to put this together the correct way and a way that will work forever... If you have never put together any sort of Ikea furniture then don't attempt this one. I have put together a lot of furniture and so this one is no different then any of the other foreign made DIY kits. Get your self some white cabinet glue like Gorilla glue and at every joint and dowel hole add some glue before tightening up the pieces and if you do that this will not come apart... Yes the instructions are not the greatest but read thru them fully and then understand how it all goes together and then throw the instructions away. The only things I wish differently about this is that it would be better if the internal parts and the feet where better quality but they work.Out of the box it was packed nicely but the styrofoam is extremely cheap and got everywhere! My pieces were poorly marked and the hardware wasn't marked at all, which was disappointing. The instructions were hard to understand but you can make your way through them. Mine came damaged in 2 spots, one corner piece and a strip of wood outside material wasn't glued down and was coming off...neither was enough for me to return it, and it was not due to shipping. After fighting putting it together for almost 2 hours it looks fantastic when it's done! Does exactly what I needed it to and looks great in the space! It is cheaply made and you can feel it putting it together so I'm hoping it will be able to hold up to my husband and four kids...I like the fact that it is closed know one has to know what is in there. You can put it anywhere!! Easy to assemble. Very nice piece of furniture!!this is the best shoe rack ever hard to put together comes in pieces but once its together its sooo nice super thin and holds 6 pairs of shoes in each thing so 18 pairs unless yu put flip flops and sandals then it holds moreFirst off, if you're not good at interpreting instructions, then don't buy this item. The instructions are horrible. Just a bunch of pictures with zero explanation. The quality of the cabinet is so-so. It's sturdy once you you get it put together and the wood (or "wood") is heavy. I question how the mechanism which keeps the drawers in place will hold up over time, but time will only tell. Its a slender unit and the utility is there. Not great for shoes with a higher top (booties, high-tops, heels) and if you have large shoes ( sz 13+) you have to remove the divider to fit the shoes and you remain with less space to store shoes.I really like the style of this cabinet. There are 3 doors with 2 rows for holding shoes. Boots will have to be laid on their side. It is nice looking for the price but is extremely cheaply made. I bumped the bottom door and both pivot hinges sheared off. (They are plastic) In fact all the hardware, including the feet are plastic. I had to drill out the plastic pegs and replaced them with wooden ones. Putting together is easy to medium hard. One must remember that it is vinyl covered and if it is scratched you have to use a magic marker to cover it up. The price was right, looks nice in my bedroom, is narrow in depth and is handy to have shoes so close at hand.We like the design and colors. It took several hours to build it. One side was received cracked and we exchanged it. After assembling it for several hours we found out the same side was also cracked. We were frustrated and continue building it. It works great, fits about 24 shoes, and has a crack on 1 side.Product low quality .Received brown instead of whiteAssembly instructions are horrible !It's not wood and are binges are plasticLike who the hell makes plastic hinges ×_*This item was labeled as $81 but shipping cost $117 item looks so cheap ikea and walmart are selling it for half of the price same brand on ebay and walmart is not as much the worst part is QUALITY SUCKS FEELS like it will tilt and fall apart !The finished product is very functional and lighter and stronger than other "some-assembly-required-furniture" that tends to be very heavy for it's strength - I'm looking at you Ikea! For reference we could fit about 6 pairs of normal sized shoes in each of the three shelves in the cabinet. Or you can leave out a divider and use that shelf for higher shoes or low boots. I've shown how it looks without the divider. We found the shoes tumble around unless you face them towards you. Imagine the jumble that 18 pairs of shoes creates - this is clearly a great solution for lots of shoes. The hinges are plastic but are strong enough to hold shoes which are much lighter than books or dishes. The assembly is more difficult than others I have done. I needed help to hold things while I did the assembly. And there are a lot of screws to be driven into wood. This seemed to be a reasonable price to pay to get a stronger cabinet.Very flimsy product. Wood is heavy which causes product to fall down each time. Assembly is hard, requires considerable amount of time.More damaged than expected. Not worth the price.Sturdy and as prescribed
